The aim of these courses is to prepare students to pass any of the three exams that certify the Spanish language skills of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, working on strategies to successfully pass each part of the tests.

In the preparation course for the Business Spanish exam, students will learn about all the most relevant aspects of a company: its organisation, production, the workplace, professional communication, business documents, foreign trade, etc. While practising with documents, they write official documents and practice oral and written expression.

In the preparation course for the Spanish for Health Sciences exam, students will develop communicative skills in the hospital and health sector, using the necessary tools and structures, familiarising themselves with the language of this sector, acquiring and putting into practice the specific vocabulary. Students will understand and produce specific written and oral texts, such as documents, reports, records and presentations.

In the preparation course for the Spanish for Tourism exam, students will be able to progress and acquire new knowledge of Spanish through the development of skills to function in a professional context related to the specific field of tourism (hospitality, travel agencies, leisure, etc.). The course combines learning activities that enhance language skills and exercise the student’s communicative competence with visits to representative tourist and hospitality venues.

These courses offer companies an effective way of assessing the language skills of their employees and promote the study of Spanish as a language of international communication at a business level.

Our centre offers the possibility of combining linguistic content with economic, cultural or business content in different geographical and work contexts in which professional activity is carried out in Spanish.

• Business Spanish: to know the language of business, both orally and in writing, for the development of activities within the company on a day-to-day basis and in administrative or commercial activities of the company. In order to obtain the Diploma, the candidate will have achieved a level of specialisation in economic and commercial issues in Spain and their projection in Latin American countries.
• Spanish for Tourism: to acquire a sufficient level of technical Spanish to develop communication activities,
  both oral and written, in hotel, catering and tourism services.
• Spanish for Health Sciences: to develop the Spanish language, both orally and in writing, of health care professionals.

In all these areas, an interactive methodology adapted to the different levels and needs of the candidates will be used, through the development of grammatical and communicative content, as well as practical oral and written expression and comprehension.
