OISE Segovia offers you the opportunity to learn our language in a centre with tradition and prestige in language teaching. The range of courses and programmes on offer is flexible and covers all levels of learning, as well as specific content and cultural immersion.
What do we offer?
History
OISE Segovia was founded almost 40 years ago with the aim of teaching our language in the historic World Heritage city of Segovia. From the outset, our courses have been taught in small groups which allow for individual attention, so that teachers can identify strengths and weaknesses, and adapt the teaching to the individual needs of each student. OISE course materials are developed in-house and include a continuous assessment system that allows students to receive feedback on their learning pace, and to reorientate their learning if necessary.
Mission
Our language courses go beyond the study of linguistic aspects, based on the concept of multicompetence, i.e. in addition to the classic communicative competences in language teaching, we also work on intercultural knowledge, skills and abilities.
Communicative competences are not enough to face the challenges of today’s society, language learners must be prepared to interact, not only with native speakers, but also to be able to interact in intercultural contexts, with people of different languages and cultures and to master the language both personally, professionally and in new technologies in professional contexts.

Team
OISE has a teaching team of professionals in various teaching fields who combine experience, professional rigour, enthusiasm, understanding and a clear objective: to see their students grow and improve. Native teachers, experts in different areas and with ample experience in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
Featured courses
These programmes are designed for younger students. We have programmes throughout the year and a specific summer programme for teenagers from 13 to 17 years old, where they will learn Spanish while enjoying the culture of Spain and Segovia.
The importance of the Spanish language in the world is indisputable, it is the second most spoken language in the world and it is increasingly present in the world of commerce and the Internet. Aware that more and more adults need to learn or improve their Spanish for their professional career, OISE Segovia offers different Spanish programmes for professionals in different areas such as business, health or tourism.
We prepare our students with rigour and dedication to successfully pass the official Spanish exams such as the DELE, SIELE or the preparation of exams for the accreditation of the Diploma of Spanish for the Chamber of Commerce and exams for access to Spanish universities and Grandes Ecoles de France.
Designed for those students who wish to take any of the courses in our catalogue and who for various reasons cannot travel to our school in Segovia, we offer the possibility of taking online courses, individual and completely adapted to the needs of the student.
