A home away from home
Staying with a Spanish host family will give you the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the local culture of our country and our city, while continuing to practise what you have learnt at school in a relaxed and natural environment.
All families who host students at OISE Segovia are carefully selected and can be trusted. The houses are always within walking distance of the school and are between 10 and maximum 30 minutes away from the school. Public transport alternatives are also available for those students who prefer to use this alternative.
Rooms are single, and students do not share a host family with another student of the same nationality.
Homestay accommodation includes breakfast and dinner, and a packed lunch to take to school, as students have a lunch break between classes.

Day-to-day life in family accommodation
Home-cooked meals
The host families of OISE Segovia students will provide home-cooked meals typical of Spanish gastronomy, taking special care with diets, intolerances or allergies.
Continuous practice of Spanish
Families will ensure that students can practise their Spanish and what they have learnt during classes, encouraging group conversations and students to watch films, TV programmes or listen to the radio with them. It is guaranteed that no two students of the same mother tongue will stay in the same house.
Social relationships
OISE Segovia's homestay programmes encourage socialising and socialising, students will be able to make new friends and establish bonds with the family that will last through the years.
Study environment
The accommodation included in OISE's Spanish host family programmes encourages study space through work spaces in the common areas of the house as well as in individual rooms.
Individual rooms
All families will provide students with a single room, in order to preserve privacy and to have a space to study and do homework. The bathroom can be individual or shared with the family.
