OISE Segovia offers you the possibility to stay with Segovian families or in a residence exclusively for OISE students.
Host family accommodation
Staying in a homestay will give you the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the local culture of our country and our city, while continuing to practise what you have learnt at school in a relaxed and natural environment.
All OISE Segovia host families are carefully selected and are fully trustworthy. The houses are always within walking distance of each other, between 10 and 30 minutes. Public transport alternatives are also available for those students who prefer to use this alternative.
Rooms are single, and students do not share a family with another student of the same nationality.
Homestay accommodation includes breakfast and dinner, and a packed lunch to take to school, as students have a lunch break between classes.
Accommodation in a residence
OISE Segovia offers the possibility of staying in a residence exclusively for students of the school during the months of June, July and August.
The residence is a newly renovated building with all facilities for students and has 36 single rooms with private bathrooms. The location is very central, next to the city’s monumental aqueduct and a 5-minute walk from the school. The residence is located in the centre, in a pedestrian street full of shops, ice-cream parlours and restaurants.
The building has several common areas for socialising, studying, watching TV, etc. In addition, there is a
garden and a small swimming pool. OISE Segovia organises activities and games in the afternoons and evenings for students to have fun and relax.

The residence provides breakfast and dinner, and packed lunch for students to eat at school. The food is cooked in the residence, homemade and taking into account the tastes and needs of the students.
Additional information
Students wishing to change host family must inform the school management, either directly or through their parents and the French sales agency in the case of French students. Once the communication has been made, the management talks to the student to understand the reasons and talks to the host family to hear their side of the story. If the problem can be solved through dialogue, an attempt is made to keep the student in the house, otherwise an alternative family is immediately found or the student is moved to a room in the residence while the problem is being solved, without the extra cost of the residence service. The family is compensated for the time the student has stayed in the house or even for the planned period if the family was not responsible for the student's decision. If it is the family that requests the student's departure due to bad behaviour or non-compliance with the rules of the house, the procedure of dialogue and listening is repeated, but if the student has incurred in bad attitudes or behaviour, he/she will not be changed to another family, but will be expelled from the programme.

Whether you stay with a host family or in a residence, students will enjoy home-cooked meals typical of Spanish cuisine. Special attention to diets, intolerances or allergies.
Continuous practice of Spanish
